Thread: Freelance Jabba's 3rd mission: A little help?

Hey, folks. I'm stuck on this mission, after soloing the first two. I get to Dath, get to the lamba asap. However, the enemy fighters just keep coming. I'm not sure if I need to defeat everyone of them that fly in, or just dock and run. Also, not even sure where to run to at this point. What's the next objective, get to another lamba and repeat?


I can hold my own for a little while, but eventually no matter how many I knock out of the sky, more keep showing up. So, I'm wondering if there's a finite limit to however many enemy ships are supposed to come at me.

I don't remember this one particularly, but I beleive you jsut run to the lambda, dock run to a second, then run to a third. I think, if not, then what happens is you dock then go to a battle thing, again I think, been a while.

Alright, tried again, using the run like a chicken approach. You dock (while under fire) three times with different lambas. then, you're asked to go escort another ship. By that time, I've got 8 fighters firing at me and an 8k stretch to the next waypoint. If I run,they follow and have a BEAUTIFUL line up of their crosshairs. If I try to fight, even when I'm remotely close to turning the tables, more fighters show up.


But, at least I know more or less what to do, now.

Are you using droid commands? If not, you might find it a bit easier with them Especially cap to sheild shunt

Target engines and fire. Disable them. Slows respawn. you should make it atleast 6k before youh have to repeat.

if it's the mission I'm thinking of, then when I eventually got bored of wave after wave, I just left a few disabled as they seem to re-spawn the instant the last one was destroyed. Which left me enough time to go to the waypoint - once you get there they will not spawn.


The other way was to use IIF transponder and then run - by the time they recover you can be 2k+ away and will lose aggro.

The disable thing worked like a charm. Thanks for the tip. It got me to the escort, and through the escort leg of the mission. It also got my (though limping away) through the 4th mission. The transponder worked the one time I used it, as it bought me enough time to take out one of the faster scyk ships before the rest started in on me. I really appreciate the responses.
