Thread: Enemy Player Ship constant scanning macro? (looking for one)
Thanks.
n'exist pas.
People've been asking for this one for a long time, m'self included. However I really doubt it'll ever be added. Would make it too easy..
Situational awareness is key - just because someone's covert one minute doesn't mean they still will be five minutes later.
Btw, congrats on turning purple, Kayl.
I set my "target closest hostile player" button right next to the other buttons I use to control my ship in space, I have reset most of my keybindins for space. When ever I am overt or in Deep Space I'm constantly hitting that button.
A macro would make it to easy. I say leave it with no way to macro it. If you don't have situational awarness you shouldn't be sucking air past you're teeth/what ever you breath through.

This is how I do this:
Pressing "L" targets the nearest player and toggles through any that are with in radar range. I hit that frequently. If I happen to come across a player that is of my opposing faction and he's a good ways off, I'll first watch him to see if he's approaching me. Then, if he's not and I still have more time, I start pressing "T" totoggle throughany hostiles in radar range. If that playercomes up from that technique, Iknow he's overt and I go say "Hi."
If,whenI'm pressing "L",I notice he's coming towards me, I can bet on him attacking meand I switch to welcoming committee mode.

lol.. really, there isn't, or if there is, it's still hidden. Many pilots have been searching for such a command for months without success.

Nyah, I should be blue!
Thanks, though. I think I'm a little too critical of the Devs (re: caustic) to earn a Corr title.
