Thread: How to start out being a pilot???

I just started playing the game again after about 8 months I think. I want to be a pilot now instead of doing the jedi grind. I went to the pilot trainers (rebal and freelance) and they told me I didn't look like a pilot. What do I need to do? Sorry about being a newb, I searched on this and it didn't say anything about them saying this.

You were probably talking to the wrong NPCs. there are exact waypoints for all the starting trainers in the FAQ, and if you were talking to one of those guys and they didnt get you rolling, then come back and we can figure it out.
