I've looked through the forums but can't find an answer to this. I just recently Mastered Alliance Pilot and would like to try some of the other squadrons/factions. I was thinking about trying the Freelance/Reb pilot squadron. Any way, what I'm curious about is what do I loose and what do I keep.
If I retire the Alliance Pilot will I...
1) Still be able to fly my Heavy X-Wing, Nova?
2) Still be able to fly my Y-8?
I'd like to master the Freelance so I can fly a YT-1300 but only if I can eventually retire and master an Alliance Pilot squadron again and still be able to fly the YT-1300 as well as the Master Alliance ships.

Once you retire your pilot you will not be able to fly any of the faction ships. If you master Freelance and get your YT and retire no more flying the YT. That's the way it goes.

Hmmm... Bummer. Oh well. Looks like one toon will have to be one faction and the other toon another faction. That way I can fly either......
Thanks for the info....
