Thread: Question about switching factions while working on the ace mission.

Okay, right now my alternative character is a 4/4/4/4 Freelance pilot working on the Ace mission. He is a Rebel on the ground and Freelance in space. I want to go Imperial with this character and I’m not sure if this will mess up my Ace mission.
Can I drop Rebel and go Imperial while working on the Ace mission for the Rebels and not screw myself?

I don't think it's much of a problem, but why not just wait? IIRC, I took the Imp mission as a Rebel (in CorSec) and no problems...

I'll just go ahead and do the last mission as a rebel and go imp once I'm ace. That way I'll be 100% safe.

Ground faction doesnt matter if you're freelance in space, should be no problem if you switch.

"should" is the word. But in this game it's better to not to do any unconventional things unless you're willing to restart if the short cut turns out to be a dead end.

What ever you do, get your componants out of your ship before you drop the skill, you cant even access it anymore after you dropped it, friend of mine lost some damn good componants that way
