I know they cant be made only looted but what should i look out for?

Guns & Ros.. ehh Engines. Rest of the L8 stuff is usually not worth it's weight.

Level 8 reward shield's good too (Mr. wrote the guide on reward items), but otherwise yeah

Mark III Concussion and I believe Mark II Image-Rec launchers are level 8. 
I use concussions in PVE. I sometimes use IRs in PVP, but only if I'm severely outnumbered or they're using missiles (real or fake).

Tier 4 things drop level 8 components more frequently than anything else. I highly recommend tier 4 duty missions in particular.

Only excuse I can offer is that I Re'dmine months ago, they're there, RE'd and all and out of mymind when it comes to the RE game.
