I'm a rebel alliance pilot and a budding shipwright... it is possible for me to craft (or even buy) ships other than the rebel ships.. like the black sun and hutt ships? or would i have to be neutral to do so?

you can craft any ship thats craftable, but you cant unpack the deed unless you're a pilot of the proper affiliation
