Thread: My Quanton Ion Engine your opinions

Well, after reading that cross-server trade post, I finished my quest last night. Less than steller stats on my engine. I haven't read a lot of the 'what're your stats' posts on this one, but enough to know I got a 'bad roll'.
From memory:
PYR 68 / 64 / 65, top 87.4
Would you RE this? or save your lvl 8 engines and try to aquire a better one? Opinions welcome.

Well theTier 4 MissionReward Haor ChallMilitary Grade Engine will have slightly better speed of around 88 I believe. But the Quantum you have is still certainly worthy of REalso with the 87.4 speed. Save as many level 8s as you can looking for the better PYR stats and low mass. RE your best engine at the time or try another cross server Starmap quest to get a better roll on the Quantum Ion if you have already RE'd your reward engine.

You should at least wait until you have all the PYR stats over 70 IMHO.

None of the stats you list are good for RE. Maybe one of the other stats, like mass or reactor drain would make it RE worthy. If not, you RE that engine asa filler or you'll use it because the engine looks cool (especially on an a-wing).

The post-nerf Haor Chall is 88.5. I'd try to get someone you like in your guild to run the quest as well, and if he/she/they get better, offer them a decent (re: NOT something like 50k) price for it.
Pretty much all yours is good for would be for the cosmetic effect you get when you apply it to alterable fighters.

It's a reward engine from the fourth tier of any privateer tree, I believe.
