Recently, I've been getting quite a bit of weapons as loot drops. I spend a few hours in Kessel and DS a few nights ago and came out with a couple L10s, a couple L9s, and a couple lower level ones. There are good days and bad days - it feels very random, in my opinion.

yeah, weapon loot seems to be the rarest, I get lots of boosters, armor, droid interfaces, and caps, with only a smattering of anything else.

Go to endor, there you'll find a spawn of tier 3 evil raider tyrants, there great for loot

I think the loot changes from zone to zone, I've found Dath to have some really nice loot drops. I've never gotten much of anything from kessel.

The great RE'd guns you see occasionally posted here are the results of months of daily looting. Agood gun can be RE'd from the loot generated by a T4 destroy duty done 5 times a week for a month. Decent guns take 5 times a week for 2 weeks.

This is roughly the timetable you'll need to keep in mind if you're going to RE guns without buying any loot. 5 hours on a single day isa drop in the bucket.

Tomorrow you'll loot 3 in 5 hours. I average 1 L8 for the rebel T4 black sun destroy duty which usually takes me 60 to 90 minutes. Don't look at a single run, look at the end of the week to the total.

Patience is important, if you're in a hurry the fun will be gone real soon.

Exactly. The only loot I get excited about these days are lvl 7+ guns. In fact I sell everything to the dealerexcept guns and caps.

Wow, that is impressive. And I agree that it always seems that weapon loot is rare, but it may be the "watched pot never boils" syndrome. When you're wanting it, it never comes often enough. (Take that however you want. Lol.)

Not sure about the pot boiling theory, I have RE'd about every component on my ship level 5-6s, Imp by the way, and have only looted about 5 or 6 guns total and I'm 400k from my Kessel mission.
