Today I looted a level 2 weapon with a effectiveness of 0.873 vs armor. Im wondering if this is a unusual loot because Ive never seen a level 2 with stats that good. I will post the type of weapon if anyones interested.

I looted one like that a while back, got it sitting in my vendor for when I redo the pilot trees. I would like to know which one it is though, if you don't mind.

not to unusual, i looted a level 2 with .90 vs sheilds about a week ago

Yeah, the vs.Shields is pretty common. The real fun is finding a vs.Armor to match with it. Then you have one really insane....level 2 blaster.

It's too bad you can't apply that to something with higher damage stats...

Level 10's can be good too - I have one with 0.809 vs Shields before RE, strange that certain level 10's (Like the ArMek Elite Ion Canon) come out with better vs stats than 6's or 8's - thelevel 10'sI have RE'd areall at least 0.81+ vs Shields and Armour and can't get close to this with alevel 6 or level 8 RE.

i looted one the other night it was .935 vs shields and .151 vs armor, it was the koensayor mark1 heavy ion cannon i think cant really remmeber, anyways makes one hell of a gun for smaller ships
