OK, i just got 4444 in the iMperial Storm Squadron and i am stuck on the mission. The mission is to destroy the captured engineer transports. Each transport is escorted by 6 tier 4 bothan fighters (i forget which type of ship they are).

Easy mission with the set-up i have and i can destroy everythign really easily until the third transport group. The transport enters hyperspace as soon as my first shot hits it. Thus making it impossible to destroy.

Is this a bug or am i missing something somewhere? I have tried targeting the engines/reacot rand disbaling it firts but it makes no differnece. All i can think of is to try and find somethign that can one-shot kill the thing. Getting very frustrated as everythign else in the mission drops like flies.
