Are there any rebel populated areas of space? And if you shoot a rebel down, do you get imperial faction points?

Yes... all over the place... literaly. One of my favorite rebel spawns, outside of kessel and DS, is really close to the endor space station. There are two groups of 3 flying around the ends of the nebulon b. I think they are tier 3 or 4 but the respawn rate is pretty good and the proximity of the station is kinda nice.


yes and no... you have to declare at any Imp space station in order to get faction points. (Like being combatant on the ground) However, this also leaves you open to PvP (unlike on the ground).
