Thread: Wasn't the no-medal-for-females bug fixed in P23?

There was a bug prior to P23 where non-ithorians female chars that mastered a squadron received the helmet, the badge, but no medal.
This happened to my twi'lek pilot when she mastered the Vortex Squadron and there was a thread were the Pilot community pinned down. The thread was aknowledged by Tomo and passed to the devs who apparently fixed the issue in the P23. In fact my twi'lek got her medal when she first logged in after P23.
But yesterday my other female char (a human) who had never mastered any Pilot before, mastered the Smugglers Alliance Pilot profession. As usual I got my helmet, badge and again... NO MEDAL.
Wasn't this fixed? I logged out for 1h and didn't get my medal when I logged in again. What's the matter with medals? Is really so difficult to fix this?

My wookie female did recieve all her Medals in her datapad but have not completed any Master Pilot since, so perhaps the bug is still with us

Maybe all they did was give out medals that should have been earned, maybe they didn't actually fix the problem (which is highly believable)

I mastered Havok Squadron with Meliya and no medal for her. I guess when I master Inquistion this week I won't get that medal either. Love how in this game women are being discriminated against. Funny how in the Navy a female pilot will receive an award for accomplishing things but yet in the world of Star Wars women are supposed to be barefoot and dancing in cantinas to get their "rewards".
Thanks for caring about us female players SOE. I got some Kool-Aid for everyone on the SWG team.

I didnt get a medal it was the only thing i really wanted :/

I did get my three medals with the Publish. When I got my fourth Ace about a week ago I did not get one either. (I did post in one of the bug threads.)

I got the medals for the 13 Sqdns I had allready done the day it was fixed... And another one the day after when I got SA done (again) so now I have 14 medals

Any other female pilots master a squad recently but were unable to receive your medal? Or were you able? Would like to keep up to date on this one.

I'm in the 9 squadron run with a female char, and she didnt receive the medal for mastering Corsec last week.

I received medals when the "fix" went live, but I'd have to check to see if I've received all 3 medal types. I KNOW it's not 1 per squadron.

This can be a distinct problem. 2 possibilities here:
1. Maybe the devs changed so you can only get each faction medal once. If so, mastering a second (or third) freelance squadron wouldn't give you the medal.
2. I know for sure there is a bug here, since my female Smugglers Alliance Ace Pilot didn't get the medal and it was the very first Pilot profession to master.

I got the medal for Freelance (Smugglers Alliance) after the "fix" went live. I mastered Havok Squadron just over a week ago and did not get the Rebel Alliance medal. Currently I'm 3433 Imperial Inquistion and should master it this week. I don't expect to get a medal for this one since I didn't get one for mastering Rebel pilot. I'll let you know Tomo if I get the Imperial medal or not this week. This is highly frustrating since I'm building a pilots wall in my guild hall and the ace gear is a primary part of that. Hopefully this becomes a permanent fix and not a weekly hotfix.

Mastered Alliance pilot recently on a female toon--about a week after teh fix went live--and didn't get the medal. Talked to the Admiral and still got squat.
