Thread: X52 question
I have the Saitek Cyborg Evo, the default for the twist axis is for roll, but you can reprogram it however you want in the game's keymap. Yes, it does have a twist axis.
The twist axis is supposed to be replacement for the rudder control, which in reality would control the yaw, not roll. But that would make it a bit harder for space flight I think. Feel free to tinker around with both and see which you like more.
Saitek is very nice though, if you can afford that much for a joystick, you'll be happy with it.
I thinkwhat you usefor control really does make the game more immersive, not to mention easier to control.

Does the Saitek X52 have a twist handle for roll?
just got mine today and yes it does have twist
Awesome. Do you order online or were you able to get it locally? From my limited research it looks like I either will have to order online or travel 2 hours to pick one up.
