you are a traitor to the imperial cause, you shame those of us who flew at your side, who knew that with you flying with us we had a chance to bring the galaxy to peace, now you turn on us, if your ship ever crosses that of mine, expect not to fly away.

like the rp in there?

Hehe well, I'm still an Imperial pilot at heart. But I can't help it that they won't add my favorite ship...

Ok here's a question, I've seen people with say, the Rebel Ace tag up, but they show up as Imperial on the ground to me. Joining a factioned pilot group makes the faction automatically and dropping faction takes away your pilot skills, so how does one do this?

I believe you retain the title if you never change it, even after skill loss. But once you do change it, you can't put Alliance Ace Pilot back up whenever you'd like.

You sure they weren't neutral ? Because what you say is (in theory) impossible.

and @ santoro: that used to work, but they have fixed that. You loose your title right away when you loose the skills. And if that shouldn't happend, it will definitely be gone after your next login.

I am 100% positive that he was Imperial and had the Rebel Ace tag. I also think it was past the patch that fixed this bug, and that I saw him in space in a Rebel craft.

I...love the X-Wing, I admit it. I'm nearing Ace on Kettemoor and I want the heavy one. I'm glad I didn't get the Vaksai. Don't care the A-Wing though, but it's well out-fitted yet. It's good at staying alive though, one of the Tier 4 Vortex missions only had me kill one ship and the rest was all survival. I must go pray for my soul now.

Also, running around combatant as a Rebel is much more dangerous/annoying than Imperial. My twice broken BARC will attest to that.

Ah, sweet sweet guilt.

Very strange.
Maybe there is a way to get past it, but if there is, it is an exploit, so it's not recommended to try. Because you might log in one time, and discover that you lost all your pilot skills, or that you're neutral again.
