i need some help on buying other ships!

i need to know -how to buy a ship

- wherer to buy them

- how i can fly them

- wat i need to fly them

ship i really want is a yt-100

thanks all, if someone could awnser thoes points there, i would be most gratefull! thanks!

You have to buy the blueprints from a player crafter. Once you find the blueprint you want, buy it and then talk to the Chassis Dealer in just about any starport. For a fee, they'll turn it into a deed, which you can then generate into a ship. You'll also have to buy equipment. A reactor and engine are required, and if you want to do anything other than just fly around (like maybe stay alive if attacked), shields, a capacitor, weapons, and armor are also recomended.

Oh, and to pilot a YT-1300, you'll need to be a Freelance pilot Ace. So you'll be very familiar with the whole process by then.

ok to buy a ship u need to buy the blueprints off a shipwright and then go to the chassis dealer at a starport to get it built. to fly it do u mean when can u fly them just check ur pilot tree. for what u need to fly is components for ur ship usea starrship terminal to put them in and fly. but a YT-100 do u mean a YT-1300 (melineum falcon) u need to be master freelance for that ship.

Do a search on ur planet map (try on Corellia). Look under vendors - Ships (ship chassis). You'll find plenty of shops listed. Create a waypoint...head on out to the shop and buy what you need.

i got a ship chassie and i took it to a dealer but her said that i am not certified to do it???? im doing the Level 2 skills as a imperial pilot. the ship chassie is a basic fighter

by the way, do you no when i get to fly advanced tie figheters or any other ship apart from a bacis tie fighter?

Tier 0 (Novice): TIE/Ld
Tier 1: TIE Fighter, TIE/Ln (Heavy)
Tier 2: TIE/In
Tier 3: TIE Bomber, TIE Interceptor
Tier 4: TIE Advanced, TIE Aggressor, TIE Interceptor (Royal Guard Variant, quest ship), Jedi Star Fighter (quest ship), Greivous Droid fighter (Belubub (sp?), quest ship)

As far as the chassis dealer saying you are not certified, make sure you are trying to use the TIE/In and not the TIE Interceptor, there IS a difference in the two. Also the Pilot FAQ v3.0 sticied at the top of these forums answers all your questions or at least sheds enough light on them so you can figure it out on your own.

What server are you on? Knowing that can often help, as a more experienced pilot might take the time to show you the ropes, not to mention many pilots are also shipwrights.
