Well, the title says it all basically.

I'm a master privateer pilotand rebel and thought I'd get some FP. So I get a duty mission with lots of imps in it and head to a rebel station to declare. When /comming it they say "We could use your help against the empire but I see you're busy" (or something to that effect) and my only two replies are "I have a mission" and "Stop talking", both end the conversation. So I had to drop my duty mission to go overt and then it worked like I'm used to.

Now, I haven't been overt in space for ages so this might have changed a while ago. But I have a strong recollection of being overt while doing missions.

Bottom line is that it get's a bit tougher to get FP in space since you have to rely on good natural spawns. It's, of course, still a lot faster than on the ground.
