Thread: Stupid Declaring/Kessel Question

Okies, sorry for being such a noob these days, but I'm on my last set of Ace missions, and I must get to Kessel and kill my 30 Imps.

Here's where it's weird. I usually go to Kessel as a declared Imperial (I'm Freelance Smuggler btw) as I am an Imperial on the ground.
I just tried to declare Rebel at the station in Corellian Airspace but they didn't want to talk to me. Do I need to drop my ground faction in order to complete these missions? Or is there a 'special' space station to declare at?

I read through the FAQ and didn't see anything applicable, but it's entirely possible I just overlooked it.
Thanks!

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

You won't be able to declare Rebel if your ground faction's Imperial, but you don't need to be declared to kill those TIEs. You can just stay undeclared and go to Kessel through the privateer Deep Space station in Dathomir.
