Thread: Warning! Please Do Not Destroy Rebel Freedom Station in Deep Space.

As it stands now, the devs raised the spawn time insanely high. When you destroy it, sure you may get that 500k Credit chip, but think of others first. After it is destroyed, it has a 24 hour + Respawn time! Until it respawns NORebel NPC Ships will spawn until the Freedom Station spawns. That means as soon as all the NPC's in DS have been eliminated, Deep space is empty for imperials. We have nothing to do there but PVP, because our enemies will not spawn! So PLEASE be considerate of others and leave the station where it so everyone can enjoy Deep Space as it was meant to be, not a lifeless void for us imperials. I hate to make requests, but now that everyone knows how much the station rewards everyone and their brother is after it, and unintentially denying every other imperial ace of their Ace-Only sector.
Note: You can force the Station to respawn... but you have to have a Rebel Pilot destroy the Star Destroyer. Every Time the Star Destroyer is blown up the Freedom station respawns as well.

I sat and watched as a bunch of npc Rebel ships spawned on top of the Space station the other day, only to have it start shooting them. About 5 minutes of intense Rebel on Rebel action the station blew.As a Rebel I can also agro the station, and it seems that so can any npc Rebel ships- I have /buggedthis but don't expect anything to change so soon... hey, do we Rebs get $ and loot from blowing up our own station?

The Rebel Station respawns immediately on Eclipse. I've never seen it take more than 60 seconds to come back.

Patch 11.4 changed that... Unless it is a server related problem. I've know for a fact its 24hours plus on Valcyn as well as flurry.

I dont understand why the reb station gives off 500k and the ISD gives off 50k did someone forget to put in a 0?

Last I knew, Deep Space was meant to be a PVP sector. Want to hunt NPC Rebs? go to Kessel.

i just killed it a few minutes ago, popped right back up instantly.

Waxed it last night on Eclipse too. Respawned almost immediately - appeared to me to splinter and have another station waiting underneath, almost like a snake shedding its scales/skin.
Strangely enough, it was firing at Rebel NPCs orbiting the station. Made my job easier.
680k in credits and a bunch of crappy loot (with the exception of a decent, but not stellar, L4 cap)
I was looking for kill #20, but alas, I found no PC Rebs. Got a reminder why a flight of eight B-Wings flying in formation is one of the most damaging PvE elements in space...unfortunately I wasn't able to loot anything worthwhile from them.

That's why I never go to Deep Space without a countermeasures launcher anymore. 
Anyway, it respawns just fine and dandy on Lowca.

Yeah, I HAVE a micro-chaff launcher - was spitting them out left and right
