I think so yes.
i did manage to dock with the rebel ship, and it sent me a wp for an imp shuttle that i had to destroy, but i died...

the trick with the missions where you have to dock with a ship is to ignore the enemies. head straight for the waypoint, fire at the enemies as they come in, then use your boosters to get to the ship and dock with it. youll probably get a few times, but its not bad. after you dock, there will be no more waves of enemies, so just take out the ones already there and head for the next wp

I just did this mission last night. Same thing happened to me. Not sure I remember all that I did since it was an endless stream of bad guys.
I finally realized I had the next mission waypoint so I bugged out and headed for it. The waves of Tie's did not follow far and I was able to get to the WP and completed that segment. Not sure what that entailed, though. was getting a bit blurry by then. As I recall, the never-ending waves were on me again and I got a message saying to go back to Yavin IV. I may have that backwards, though. was bouncing back and forth from Endor to Yavin IV a bit.
Anyway, when I made the jump, my rear armor was shredded and shields were barely hanging on. Before I could make it to mission WP or a friendly starbase, I got jumped by some tier 5 fighters and turned into space dust. After cloning, the mission WP was still active so I blasted out after getting repaired and made it to the last WP. Don't remember what the task was there but I think it was docking to pass teh data on. I remember getting pounded pretty hard while doing the transfer but my trusty y-wing bucket held together long enough to do the deed and make a run for it.
Mission complete, second xp box full and now I'm off to do some X-wing shopping. Good luck.

Hello there,
i'm having difficulty with a mission. i am working with Lt Colonel Aqzow and i've got to goto endor, meet up with a smuggler to get some data, then deliver it to a rebel ship nearby.
The problem is the endless waves of eyebells and squints, (Tie fighters and tie interceptors) that eventually take me down.
Getting the data is np, but then they come and come. i have managed to kill 6 or 7 waves, but then i die. Am i missing something really obvious? or is this mission just very hard!! I am using a Y-wing with level 4-5 components.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
