Thread: Query on Inquisition Tier 4, 3rd mission

I need some guidance on what I think is the 3rd Tier 4 mission for the Inquisition squadron.
This is the the second one where you first capture a crystal smuggler near Dathomir (large unarmed frighter this time). After protecting the freighter, and getting to the point where I have met and docked with the disabled Lambda shuttle, I am confused by the next stage.
After the shuttle safely jumps out, you are ambushed by a bunch of L4 Cyonite (?) ships, and are told to defeat the ambush - however, the mission journal seems to indicate that you are supposed to go to Naboo.
Are you supposed to defeat all the attacking ships at Dathomir, then jump to Naboo, or is it simply the case that you can jump to Naboo once you receive this stage of the mission?
After spending an hour reaching this point, only to fail and be told that a mission target had escaped, I would like to be clear on what I am supposed to do before I attempt the mission again.
Any help would be appreciated

Well, I never actually captured the Crystal Smuggler. I got the Mission Successful and headed out of there, because I hadn't figured out to use Weapon Overload 3 and was getting waxed by the stinker. The last time I had the mission, I was going to disable him, but ended up destroying him instead. =(
Bottom line, you don't need to even engage the Crystal Smuggler to advance.

It sounds like you are describing the previous Tier 4 mission, with the Crystal Smuggler in the armed YT-1300.
I am looking for info on the mission following that one, where the Crystal Smuggler is in an umarmed large freighter.
BTW the one you are describing is fairly buggy - had to attempt it about 15 times before it would give me the later stages of the mission..

You destroy the attacking ships right there in Dathomir, and if I'm not mistaken, that is the end of the mission. I'm not sure why they mention Naboo when the enemies start coming in, typo in the mission perhaps? But yes, you wax the incoming ships right there in Dath, and I'm pretty sure that's the end of the mission, then you can go train 4-4-4-3

Same for me also.....You have to make sure that you get them all before any bail out (Hyper) though...I have had that happen before when you get down to the last few.

Thanks to all for posting - finally managed to do this mission the other day. Now all I have to do is wipe out the Tier 4 gunship and its escorts on the next mission....

Nasty mission, me no like that one!!
It makes life easier to bring a friend and hope your bomber strikes don't fail!!
I will say it gets easier from then on to Master. Killing 30 ships in Kessel is easy and the Corvette is a walkover!!
