Any one know if the lever closest to the user, on the base of the joystick has any use? It looks like a throttle control, but I have no idea..



A Priest and a Rabbi sit down at a boxing match. The two look on as the boxers return to their corners. One of the boxers crosses his chest and looks to the sky.
The Rabbi looks to the Priest and asks "What exactly does that mean?"
The Priest responds "Not a damn thing if the man can't fight."

yes thats the throttle. Make sure you get the drivers for it from windows update. These drivers are autocalibration drivers. Everytime you first use it in the game you need to calibrat it by moving the joystick handle around in a circle. Twist the stick left and right and move the throttle all the way forward and all the way back. Do this the first time you enter space in game. I had no problems in beta with it not recognizing the controls. You can also program it with the saiteksmart technology programming software. You need to do this in order to remap the POV hat to do other things in game like targeting, numpad del(to look behind you in space). Just make sure you clear the binding for the POV hat for looking around the ship. Happy hunting.

I went out and bought mine for beta and love it, never used a joystick at home before. was in beta for over 3months and never really had a problem except that I can't get SWG to acknowledge the ^ (shift) btn, the ones above F1 and F3.

I can't get the shift buttons on this stick to work either. Has anyone else figured out how to get these to work? If so, would you share your mapping profile with me?
