Um, shoot things, get XP, and train up.

You have posted several questions here lately that are very very vague. In at least one you complained about not getting answers that you wanted. I would offer to you that posting an actual problem will help us help you a lot easier.

What are you having problems with?

Can you not find things to kill?

Are you expecting to master pilot sometime tonight and this is just to slow for you?

A little more detail, and an actual question other then "how do I grind this" will go a long way to getting you what you want.

I've been having pretty good luck with a steady supply of tier 3 Z-95s over Lok (Lurid Dawn, I think). I got my level 5 equipment cert first, then the Y-Wing LP cert... after that those T3 Z-95s have been no issue (I found them at to be at least worthy opponents up to that point) and paying out around 1200 exp per kill if I remember correctly... seemed to work pretty good for me (at least getting to 2/2/2/2)

I'm just a newbie myself (2/2/1/1) but I've found that if you put on a good booster and some good armor on your backside it's ok to go up against those tier 3 and 4 guys. That's where the xp is at and the money selling their salvage parts. I'm Imperial and lately have been spending all my time above Yavin. Tons of t2-5 ships there and most of them just have more armor and hitpoints, not flying ability. Advancing does alot fast when you are making 1000-1400xp a kill instead of 100.

Once in a while I get in over my head and get my butt kicked, but then its just a quick trip to Naboo for a pretty cheap fix and then back in the action.

Don't shoot at anything that has gunship in its name. lol. Trust me.

well, the best thing to do with a standard y-wing is to get some one who also needs oilt xp and put them in as a gunner, that way you can have someone covering your rear also, but still get the equipment trraing first then get a longprobe so you can solo stuff

Personally,I found it esaier to use the Z-95 over the Y-Wing. It's much easier to get on target's tails and stay there than it is with a bulkier ship (albeit the only thing you can really afford to upgrade on a Z-95 is the guns and engine due to mass... and even that's iffy.)

I'd have to agree. Unless you want a gunner, the z-95 is more manuverable, grinding in it should be faster -- you shouldn't really have a problem with the low mass until you hit lvl 4-5 equipment anyway (at 0200).

As for working up xp, there are some spots on lok with constantly spawning tier 3 corsairs -- I've been there before, but not in game, so can't shoot a waypoint. Worked well, since they're kinda slow (though watch out for the missles ).
