Thread: Other factions Droid Programs?

I'm a Freelancer pilot, can I use reb/imp driod programs with my flight comp?
If so, how do I go about it?
Someone has to record the program for me?

Yes, you can. Get some empty chips from a droid engineer. Then have someone from another faction program the chips. Once that's been done, load them into your droid, like you load you own programs. I'd suggest going for Weapon overload 3 and Engine overload 3. Use them with your Cap overload 3 and reactor overload 3. And some of the rebels ones if you like, but I'd say these are the minimum.

Hi there,
Yes you can use other faction programs. To do this you need Unprogrammed Command Chips and a pilot friend of that faction. Your friend can program the chip, and trade it back to you. From there you simply program your astromech through the datapad, and the command should appear alongside your commands on the left pane.
Alternatively, you can buy preprogrammed chips on the bazaar (just in case you have no friends)
