I'm piloting a Z-95 (second squadron, the first was CorSec) and had a Droid Interface installed, and was unable to install v1 or v2 FCs. I received a failure message trying v3 and v4, as well as droids, but not v1 and v2. I'd like to get this figured out, but in the meantime, I'm pulling the FC (and some armour) for a better gun. Now to find my Tier 2 trainer...

I know, picky, picky. But A-wings use FC's not Droids.

Thank you, I was sure Z-95s used a FC, but I guess I was wrong. A failure message would have been nice, instead of the FC just not installing (and trying to use a FC or droid without cert gave the same message, so no hints there either). Well, I shifted to a Y-Wing, so it's a moot point anyway. It's sluggish, but the firepower is much better.
