Thread: Mining Cargo Hold bug

This bug for me anyway is getting ridiculous.
Its been like 3 months since ive had this bug, plenty of tickets all with the same answer. "The devs are aware of mining cargo holds dissapearing in your inventorys when unloaded from your ships."
Where is the fix. I want my large cargo hold back.
Tomo please help, CS wont give you a new 1.

Both of my large cargo holds work fine... what is the bug exactly? This is a public forum after all people are going to be curious.

I unloaded the cargo hold from my ship only to find it doesnt appear in my inventory. Sent multiple tickets as i said above but no replacement or fix.

You unloaded the cargo hold from the datapad radial menu or you unloaded it from the ship on the ship management terminal? If #2, when you unloaded it, were there asteroids in it at the time?
I have never heard of the cargo hold disappearing. Please explain further.

If I read your statement correctly.. you're actually removing the CargoHold from your ship via the "Ship Manage" screen? Actually -REMOVING- it from the ship entirely? You don't unload cargo that way, you have to right click on your ship's Icon in the Datapad (after landing) .. and it will have options on the Radial Menu for "View Cargo" and "Unload Cargo".

I removed the cargo hold from the ship and it isnt in my inventory.

Been a bug since CU beta. The workaround is to simply leave it in the ship.

Odd... I have unloaded my crafted large cargo hold from several different ships without incident. I will make sure I watch out for that next time I change mining ships. Luckily I'm a SW so I can just make a new one if mine disappears.

Been a bug since CU beta. The workaround is to simply leave it in the ship.
