I'm a Rebel primarily and love my A-wings but...I want to join the side with the least active pilots on it. So who is it..Rebels or Imps? If it's pretty baanced I'll stay Rebel but if the Imps don't have as many active pilots for instance..well expect to see me in a TIE Advanced.

kinda wondering where I should actually start a new toon for some good space PvP myself since tarq is a little under populated on those wanting it

You could have always emailed or /tell'd me and I'd have given you an honest answer.

My experience is that Valcyn has more active Rebel Pilots than Imperial ones. While the Imperials have become more active in the last couple of months, I'd be very impressed if they ever got the "numbers" available that the Valcyn Rebel Pilots can currently draw upon.

Leaph, drop me a line and I'll let you in on a few things that I won't bring up here.

*Edit* Valcyn is a rather low population server, so I don't want anyone to get the impression that it is "the place to be" for space combat or PvP in space. It is, though, a very friendly server with some organized groups that have put some effort into promoting space combat of all types across all factions.

for now I guess I'll stick to my chilastra pilot then since I was able to spec him to SW (I'd rather regrind a combat prof than get the resources for SW)

Im gonna have to quote taht for emphasis.

Bria seems to have more action than Valcyn, by virtue of having a larger population.

Valcyn is a much lower population server, and you'll find same oddieties in the local economy because of it. For instance, i can pick up a bell22 chassi for 200K (1 to 2 mill on bria), yet a 20K brick of some resoruces will cost me 200K where as on bria i could have gotten the same price for a 100K brick of the same resource.

Valcyn, is kinda ilke living in a small town. Everybody knows everybody, at least thats my impression so far. I ran into an Entertainer last night who says a friend was tell him about me or something ilke that, so i guess the local gossip travels fast.

As JTL goes, its not a very hardcore factional fanboy server either, at least thats what i see. Theres a pilot/JTL town sprining up that is comprised of both all factions. Intrestingly rival divisions are housed in the same town. So its obvious its more of love of the game then lvoe of the faction. I guess the effort is to centralize JTL players in one location to kind of reign the community in with each other. (however having my houses 300M from a starship terminal, ill be hard to convince to move there )

This ouught to be intresting. I still need to set up a PvP T/A. Hard to unass that RGI cause i love interceptors so much.

Im still thinking L8 engine w/ twin L6 guns, and *hopefuly* a MKIV shield, but i kinda doubt it will fit cause you'll be needing a MK II over a MK I reactor to run EO4.

I'd use lvl 5's since I noticed the rfire on them tends to be better..I think. I'm sure I never looted a lvl 6 with a refire rate under .480

Hmm ill have to check the refire rate on my L6's when i get home. But i recall them being much faster than that.

At the least i know i have one thats like 2800 damage, and another one at like 2600 or 2700. Damage wise their about like having twin L7 crafted at MUCH less mass and reactor drain.

I'd guess an avg of .41x-.43x cause all my RE's I've done end in the 3.8-4.0 range
