Hi guys. I've been weighing this for awhile and finaly have decided to ask thos ewith much more experience than me with this.

This is my current Droid Interface ..and has been since about the 4th week of JTL during a time when.. 'questionable loot' was dropping. Odd stuff that seemed to good to be true.

But anyways. The question is this. The Interface itself is outstanding in my opinion. But one hit and poof it's gone. Should I not worry about it getting taken out cause at that point your in trouble anyways? Or try to find a sturdier interface for the prolonged fight? This sounds kinda like a stupid question but I just can't seem to really make up my mind on the matter. Thanks for yoru time and opinions on this matter.

Use the 1/4 repair option and fly to DS for the free repair (decayless).

A very nice DI.

Never let a shot get through your armor. If you let something get that far, you've already made a mistake somewhere along the lines.

Personally I would not worry about it whatsoever. The benefit you get from that DI far far outweighs any "risk" you might have with low armor/hp on it. True, a heavily armored DI could mean the difference between life or death but the odds of such seem so low I would take very little comfort in having that extra armor. If the armor on your DI wins you the battle even once in your pilot career I would be amazed.

I agree with the previous posts here, but also know by far my most frustrating times in space are when my DI gets taken out, but /shrug you can still plot a hyperspace course.

I agree as well. The benifit of it's weight & speed far surpass any extra armor.

That is a good point but it does not apply in this case as it is a level 1 interface that appears to already have ben REed.

Not to mention the fact that you can't add another piece into the RE for a level 1 item.

Personally, I have one very similar to this, and it's sole use is in Deep Space so that I don't have to worry about it ever breaking.

As to trying to get a higher armor one, the difference between the armor of a level 1 and a level 10 is still so small that one shot hitting it will take it out, no questions asked. So, don't bother. Using the Pre-Nerf ones far outweighs anything else you could think of.
