Anyway to make it easier to to command the ops and pilot stations? I just made Master Pilot and I have a YT-1300... it sucks becuase I cant do anything in it except for fly. If I need to do something, like sheilds, or whatever, I have to get out... you guys know the drill... Anyway, is there anyway to make this more simple? If not, any plans on this? I mean, think about it, Han Solo was able to fly the ship with no problem before he met Chewie. Even Lando did with Chewie in the back doing repairs in ESB... just make more sense when they can reach over and raise shields or use the IFF, but we cant in the game.

I agree that the pilot commands should be available to the pilot in the PoB ships. Maybe add in an extra delay to droid interface to make it preferable to have someone in the ops chair.

You need friends. POB's are meant to have more than 2 people. I'd say to run it on bare minimum, you need 3 people, as the turret gunners can use cap-shield-shunt if needed. As for the rest, it's just grin and bear it. 4 crew is the ideal,5 if you need a running repairs man. but to solo is very hard indeed. You won't last 2 minutes against tier5 opposition. Though you can sit on na tier 4 duty mission spawn, with just 2 gunners if you are grinding up a lower level pilot. So long as you have decent shields and you are decent gunners, you shouldn't have any problems taking out tier 4's.

Nah, you can get away with a pilot and top gunner.

The pilot loads the proggies immediately after launch, then flies. Turret gunners can capshunt. If you need to change overloads in the middle of a fight, the pilot can hop out and make the swap well before any NPCs can beat down your shields. Even a Type V shield can take a little abuse for those two seconds.

I'm talking comfort zone for those not as experienced as us though m8 We both have enough stick time to be able to do that, others don't I've even been up and sat on a Tier 4 spawn with my alt and Alt Tab'd over to each char to take out ties before now

But I was desperate at the time to get myself some easy XP

Heh, I prefer challenges. A friend of mine asked me to help him with his Tier2 grind, so I stuck him in the top gun and headed straight for Kessel. Fun stuff.

I've soloed T4s and T5s like that, but its just me quick hopping between the turrets.
