Ever since last patch... my ship has been doing odd-ball manuveurs... all by itself! I can pull my hands away, not even touch the joystick or mouse (when i unplugged the joystick to see if something was just wrong with it) and the ship will rotate? About once every 2 minutes it will rotate about 90' all by itself.

Tried to change all my controls... set to default... then set back after that failed, nothing. Tried to change auto level, ummm, clean out my keyboard (just incase i had some food in there... ) tried to clean the joystick and still rotates.

Does this even in battle, will yaw and pitch in the wrong direction sometimes, and let me tell u, I get very motion sick. Can't fly anymore... really depressing. Have to resort to being a gunner to get my space kicks now.

Before I reload the game (about to do a repair first) is there anybody else that might be having this problem or had it before????

Oh, one more thing... yes, reinstalled and recalibrated my joystick and mouse.

Thanks in advance,

Auto level maybe?

Ctrl + O, I think it might be controls, or maybe interface.

You can just calibrate your joystick. That should fix it. Go to control panel (in windows, exit out of SWG ) , then game controllers, find your joystick there, go to properties, click calibrate, do what it says, then click ok.

you know, i've noticed this too, but only flying in the b-wing. i'll be flying along, not even touching the stick, then all of a sudden the camera will pan sharply down and to the left. it's very infrequent though.

sounds like auto-leveling is getting turned back on for you when you relog to me... there is an issue in this patch that causes options not to save on certain things (like the network status window toggle). The fix for this is supposed to be in patch 24

I've had this problem with many games ever since I got a Logitec optical mouse. Sometimes, apparently totally random, the mouse cursor will zoom to one corner of the screen and will often continue to just spin my view around until I atleast touch the mouse and move it in some way. Doesn't sound like you're having the same problem, but similiar anyway.

It almost never does it unless I'm playing a game. And yes, I've tried getting new drivers, etc before. I just deal with it.

It does make for some extremely interesting situations in the middle of combat because I just start spinning like Taz.

my logitech freedom2.4 will ocasionally spin the cockpit view off to the right for no reason, as if i was hitting the hat switch. sometimes it also becomes sluggish for a second then corrects itself. apparently it's a common problem with logitech sticks, i thought it was SWG but after doing some research on the net i found more people having this problem in different games. my old logitech extreme 3d pro stopped moving to the right entirely after 1 month, another common problem with that stick.

you'd think i would just stopbuying logitech products...

yeah if you have a logitech stick... do what I did, THROW IT IN THE TRASH and get another brand ... fixed all the problems I was having in JTLS =)
