Thread: setting up a new ship

I finally hit 4333 Storm Squadron last night. I have been using a Tie Bomber but now can set up my greivous fighter. 90k mass isnt too bad to deal with but I was curious as to what types of setups people find work best in that ship. I am thinking of high firepower, fast engine and medium defenses. Im still a bit green when it comes to components and load outs so any suggestions would be appreciated.

well what you can equip depends entirly on what parts you have availible, what parts you are willing to buy, and how much time you are willing to spend farming parts for re'd gear.

i think you said it all right here. just load the guns you want, then the engine you want, followed by the shield, and then work the rest around those three parts.
the exact combination you use depends on what your goals and resources are.

troll the forum and look at ppl's sigs. Some pilots put a link to a description of their loadouts... and if you're outfitting the bel-22, then you can do something similar to any JSF setups you find.

if you want to see what it will look like, if you go to the link in my signature I have written web based ship loadout program, there are a selection of RE-parts you can loadup to see speed, weapon DPS and so on.
