Okay then, just mastered and bought me a B-wing since its one of my favourite ships, Any B-wing pilots got any views on loadouts....

I am imagining having to run RO, CO, EO programs to get the most out of it...

I have a level 10 engine with a top speed of 117 and PYR of 73

Looking to mount a pair of Incom Triblasters on it and then a couple of Adv Ion Cannons to take it easy on the capactior....

I am also thinking mark IV torps rather than space bombs since I get more shots...

Any advice kindly received.

There are some good B-Wing pilots out there... but, even though I havent flown one, your initial thoughts sound pretty good.

How much time do you have in a bwing? Are you thinking of PvP?

I mastered Vortex last night so My B-wing is half equipped in the hanger right now...I am tempted to give it a go PVP if I can get it going fast enough to be viable.

I am going to put in some serious flight time with it and see what it can do....I have heard good things about it for vette runs and the ISD, but to start with it will be black sun duties and lone gunships while I learn it

Go to Naboo space and fight the Tier 5 Droid Fighters... they spawn fast and will keep you on your toes. That will (imo) really push the limits of the B-Wing and help get you on your way to pvp (dealing with smaller faster ships).

The ISD/Vettes - yeah, bread and butter for an assault fighter (like the B-Wing)...

forget top speed and get a 80+ PYR engine, and then put a huge reactor (like a nice RE'd RTC-Z), and run reactor overload IV engine overload IV (don't forget to go to deep space before you land to clear the decay). Fly it a lot, as you'll soon find that getting good with guns that don't converge is a bit of an art.

Well, I have flown many hours in my B-wing. Both PVE & PVP. The best advice I can give is: Practice, Practice, Practice. It takes a while to get used to the way the B-wing handles. Especially after flying the other, far more nimble and responsive, Rebel ships. It is nothing that can not be overcome, however.

As far as a loadout goes; that is really up to you, based on personal preference and what you have available to you. My self, I haven't really had allot of time to spend collecting components for high-end RE parts. The B-wing I was flying had a level 6 RE engine with p/y/r in the high 60's to low 70's, with a speed of 101. A crafted reactor with 15k+ generation. A level 8 RE booster with stats I don't have off the top of my head. Two crafted level 5 blasters. A level 8 disrupter. A level 8 Ion cannon. A level 6 RE capacitor, here again I don't have the stats handy, sorry. Level 8 reward shields with 2433 front and back and a regen of 11+. Crafted front and back armor both around 1.2k. Two IR2 launchers. (I highly recomend these.) A prenerf DI 14.7 speed at 470 mass. (Pretty happy with that by the way.) And a chaff launcher.

Droid programs included:

RO 4; EO 4; CO 4; WO 3; CtSS 4

I did fairly well with this configuration in both PVE & PVP. Well enough for me anyway.

Good luck to you. Whatever you choose to use in your B-wing.

Aren't the Droid Fighters in Naboo space Tier 1? It would suck if they were Tier 5, those things are really hard to hit.
