Thread: Need help with droid command(weapon overcharge)

today I got weapon overcharge 4 (along with capacitor and reactor overload)I have a strong blaster and two ion weapons.I charged my capatior and reactor.When I charged my weapons two of them became disabled (the ion weapons)and only the blaster would work.Does weapon overcharge only work for blasters and not ion weapons,or am I doing something wrong?

My guess would be that the power drain from 3 weapons on WO4 is too great for yourReactor even with it overloaded. If you are able, try WO3 and see if all your weaps work. Or get a largerreactor and try with RO4.
I currently have a wimpy reactor, when I launch my ship my chaff and missle launcher are disabled. I use RO3 and all 4 weapons and chaff work again.
My current droid programs include: (used in this order to "buff" upon launch)
Reactor Overload 3
Engine Overload 3
Weapon Capacitor Overload 3
Weapon Overload 3
and for during combat I have Capacitor to Shield Shunt 3.
I stick with all lvl 3's cause I dont like the idea of decay from lvl 4's

ya, and remember that the more you overload, the more energy it drains from your reactor. there is a chart in the FAQ about the energy used but overload commands.
