Thread: So I took the VT-49 to deep sapce

Well what a night that was. first off let me just say, we lasted much longer then i though we would.
there was a 3 man crew, 2 gunners and myself piloting. we stuck close to the destroyer using the turbo lazers as a shield. this worked for a while, then we got adventurous, and slowly flew the ship twords the closest rebel corvette and that is when we got into trouble. the missles would not lock and the ship moves fast like a dead rebbit. front shields went in a matter of seconds front armour went next, i managet at this point to booster and have the damage now be inflicted on the back sheilds, the corvette ate its way through the shields and back armour and so there we were, in Deep Space no shields no armour, some would say hyper back to a station. not Captian Drawde, because we still had full systems i though we would be ok, and we were we took out some more one man fighters and then called it a night. we had a close call but the ship held togeather and i learned that its not such a good idea to attack large craft with only a skeliton crew.
my only complaints about the 3 man crew is pilot not able to run droid commands and use specials also no auto pilot when you leave the pilot chair.
next time lower turrret gunner is gona be acting co-pilot as well, this should smooth out a few of the issues.
the VT-49 has been combat tested and passes with flying colours, if only she held up to PVP like she did that vette.

Heya. Not sure if you're interested, but since you're on Chilly, I've been looking for someone to duel/battle with in POB ships. Basic idea being ... we'll both staff our ships with a crew, go someplace like DS and delcare or anywhere we have the space and just duel. Nothing serious, all just in the name of fun and improving our tactics. POB vs POB
I run a YT1300 and have her setup pretty well on my main. Am also in the process of re-mastering my rebel pilot (going Crimson Pheonix this time) and will have my Nova ready for flight in the next few days.
Let me know if you're interested. On as Rayner or Radames in the evening hours.

i would deffinetly be intersted in this, i will need time to gather a crew and train them before we do battle.
