Can you change what type of pilot you are. Because i am a republic pilot but i want to become a freelance pilot. Any solutions will be great! But i don't want to start a new account

Yes, you can.
You loose all your accumulated XP and skills. Make sure you strip down your current ship(s) first.
Find and talk to the director of your faction (should be in your email, if you still have it, if not...)
Rebel: Recruiter Location: J'pai Brek (-5072, -2343) Tyrena, Corellia
Then after that's done, head on over to what privateer squadron leader you want to sign up with.
