my first post to these boards, but anyway. i have looted and killed many a ship, but this is the first time i have looted an illegal core booster. just lookin to know what it is and what it is used for. thanks

It's one of the new slicing components for smugglers to use while slicing weapons. The core booster is the level 3 damage slice component. Might be worth something on your server.

Illegal core booster? So is it a booster or a reactor? I never heard of it but sounds cool?


Erm..could you post it's stats and lvl please? From experience I find that the cool sounding loot is usually the lame loot such as 'exerimental multicore reactors'..find a lot of them in Kessel..lvl 7s I believe.

You use illegal core boosters to slice weapons for damage, its part of the new slicing system

Erm hehe..ok I need to land some time /twich /shudder /etc.


Erm ok...I should probably attatch some landing gear to my A-wing. Unfortunately, ater the initial launch I found I'd ran out of sufficient mass to attacth landing gear to it .

Artificial gravity? Wow man, you don't even get that comfort in an A-wing . The only 'gravity' you feel is the force which almost squashes you into your seat pancake style as you're flipping and spinning around like a crazed lunatic . I do have a nice inertial compensator though for those especially huge accelerations .
