I've always avoided these commands for fear of decay, however after going back and re-reading some things, I started to wonder..

Can decay from a vrepair be avoided by a trip through DS?

My understanding is, it's just like any damage, vrepair and vro just redistribute it. Decay doesn't happen until you engage in a true reapair action (station, tool, rebel repairship). So a trip to DS would fix it

It`ll switch off any droid progs you have too though so watch out!

Vrepair is good if you ever get disabled in PvP and the Imp scum comes over to gloat, ive killed a few by suddenely coming back to life and killing them, hehe, that was back in the day when i actually got hit by Imp players. That doesnt happen anymore

Oh and when you repair another ship it also resets your droid programs too!

There I was tootling through Kashyyk space when I see a corvette and nearby a totally buggered Bwing. I group with the Bwing and finish his advanced Xwing mission and then repair him only to have my programs reset and i get hit with that repair bug thingy where nothing works. The indignity of it all! Especially when my advanced Xwing mission has been bugged from 3 hours after it went live and still hasnt been fixed despite the suppossed fix in the latest patch.

I'm not famaliar with this bug... could you elaborate? I've been stuck in DS, where I couldn't hyper out... though I could do a suicide run and get blasted out.. repair worked.. is that similar to the one you had?
