im 2222 imp pilot and i jsut CANT get passed this mission from a cpt denner or something on YAVIN IV Imp outpost. his mission is called Space engineer escort which is located in Endor.


the first 3 phases are just easy. escorts and disabling, but the 4th and 5th part are hard because i keep running into Tier 4 ships that aggro and beat the crap out of me.


is there an easy way to get past these guys? i've been at this mission sense 10 am today and each run takes me an hour and a half up to the point where the tier 4's beat my ash. im also going insane from the a-wings that spawn on the mission where i must bring a document or a profile or something to a Imperial Command ship, theres like 4 that spawn at once and 3 minutes later another 4 spawn and im just SOL at thatp oint, 8 a-wings and a couple of tier 4 ships.


im going nuts. what wack job made this mission? i couldnt even survive this mission with the aid of ace pilots.

Seriously, I always avoided the tier 4 ships by going around them. I hope this isn't taken offensively, but it works for me every time. Also it helps to hyper to a different quadrant when you're being ganked, all the while boosting your way through the ships on your tail, just turn around and face them, laying on the boosters so you fly through them, it gives you some space while they turn around.

i dont mind being called a crappy pilot, i just cant blieve how many phases there are to this mission.


i cant exactly avoid these ships because im escorting a ship i had to repair and i have to fight off the a-wings and b-wings that spawn. along that process tier 4's are like 500m to the upper left, and 500m to the lower right. i have no room for dog fighting a-wings and left with only one option really, take a beating. but by the time the ship i escort takes off, i enjoy the fruits of 3+ a-wings/b-wings and 4 more a-wings spawning from the next mission who are trying to stop me from reaching the imperial command ship.


whoever can beat this mission solo is fing uber.

i cant do that man because i have to repair a ship and then escort it. while i repair it a tier 4 ship goes O_O and starts attacking. and 2 minutes later....... wasup a-wing b-wings!


are these spawns changed after server resets? these mission locations are teh suck

ok. if you are able to escort the ship to saftey, play the hyper game.


get into dodge mode. do not attempt to kill any of the ships, pick a hyper quad in the same system, but dont hyper yet. just set it up so all you have to do is hit hyper to activate.


continue to dodge untill the msg shows that the second wave is incomming. then, hit hyper and still play the dodge game.


try to save your booster for when the hyper count down begins. this will keep you from being a sitting duck while it counts down.

Another thing you might have already done is get the "cap to shield shunt 4" program on a chip from a freelance pilot and that way you will be able to renew your shields while your ace buddies kill whoever is blowing you up.

Also see if you can't get a friend in an aggressor to ride shotgun next to you with a rear turret gunner to keep em off of you long enuf...

By the Way... how many Aces are you going up with??

Have you tried hypering into a lower threat level area to start the mission?

I remember something about that mission, I think ... at one point you were required to dock with a ship within aggro range of a spawn.
