This is seems silly, but I tried locating a Heavy TIE last night via the bazaar (using the merchant listings tab > all planets), but had no luck seeing a listing for one (not even aselection option). Is there particular place these are listed?

Look under Ship Components - Ship Chassis. If you don't see one for sale you'll either want to ask a SW in game or post a request for one in your galaxies trade forum.

also check under the Misc tab, scroll till you see the listing for Tie fighter deed (high mass variant)

the high mass ships won't be under the ship components tab, thats only for blueprints and as far as i know the high mass ships are only found in deed form

Not so, all crafted ships will be under the ship components first as blueprints, and if someone deeds them (by paying the fee) then they would be under misc. However, if the Heavies are used and then re-deeded, they no longer say 'heavy' so make sure you also check the mass on deeds.

I would see if you could mine the resources needed for the Heavy, then take them to a SW that you prearranged to make your ship. This should save you a good chunk of cash. Of course I would make a deal with a friendly SW before hand.

chances of a heavy on bazar are rare, id go and check the various SW shops

its kinda weird. when searching under ship componets>chassie the tie heavy will be listed along with the regular tie. you can find them already deed'd under the misc cat as some have stated, but they are crafted as regular ships.

you have to look at each item shown to see if it has the 95k mass. some things will make them stick out tho.. who ever charges 250-400k for a 20k mas tie is gonna be looking at them on their vendors for along time.

ok sorry i thought that they don't show up under starship components tab, i have never seen one listed there on bria, only under the misc tab

when searching under the ship parts > chassie selection for some odd reason it wont LIST a heavy tie, but it will show them, its just under the regulr tie. as i stated, what makes them stick out for me is the 400k pirce tag =P

Odd. I just looked on the bazaar and I see a separate listing for Heavy ships in the Ship Components - Ship Chassis section. I don't see any heavy ships listed under the regular ship chassis.
