can anyone tell me what command i use when my ships been destroyed in space and i've been towed back to the space station... i target the space station, but when i type in /comm it asks me to identify myself, and i don't know what the command is to identify myself !!!!!!!!!!
if i try /dock the space station denies me !!

If the station doesn't talk to you right off the bat you'll need to target it with 'C' then hit '\' to talk to it. Or is it the other way around? I go into auto-mode when flying and just do things out of habit that it's hard to remember the little things I do quite often.

i have the station targeted and then type "/comm" then the station asks me to identify myself, and i don't know how to do that... it appears as if there is a command i need to type in, because when i try and /dock i am refused... my ship cannot move as its been disabled, so i'm stuck there until i can identify myself and the station lets me dock....

If you are Reb and it is the Dath station you may have to "fake" a code to get them to talk to you.

rebel at the naboo (royal) station... and i have no idea how to "fake" a code....

well when i logged in i was standing infront of the theed starport... guess thats that until the next time!

Your ship might be unlaunchable now since you couldn't get the station to repair it. But if you get a SW to make you a reactor and engine repair kit, or buy new engine and reactor, you'll be able to launch and talk to the station for more repairs.
How I talk to the station is target it with C then I type /conv, I haven't had it not work yet. But then again I'm Smuggler Alliance.

just target the station and hit shft C and it should bring up the normal conversation like you were going to land as usual......or if you type /comm it should communicate with the closest communicatable thing, most likely a starport. then just choose repair

I use the quick keys....C targets the closest station, then use the "/" (backslash) key to open up the dialouge box.

I nice tip is to launch, go to key map in options and select the target tab. there's an option to rebind so that u target and talk to nearest capitol/station. This is quite cool, saves a bit of faffing about too. Just get in range and hit C, and u talk to the station.

shift + C will target and communicate with the space station by default.
from there you can fix your ship
