Thread: Quick question for those that have looted the Black Sun Helmet

I apolgize if this has been asked before. I did a search and couldn't find the answer.


For you who have looted one, do you get a system message on your screen that you have looted a Black Sun Helmet? (Like you do with ship parts you loot) Or is it like the Asteroid Chunks where they just appear in your inventory with no system message?

I didn't notice one, if there was a message. When I landed it was in my inventory. Although to be honest I tried not to watch loot, one of those silly Pilot jinxes.

Yes you do it shows as you have looted a black sun ace helmet, most people are focused on doing duty faster and don't watch them checking the loot at end but only one I've gotten was on my 3rd duty 2nd fighter done easily 40ish since then no sign of one

rebel - hotel on lok towards back right reb NPC


freelance - last trainer farthest up in theed palace on naboo


imperial - camp spawn near red sin chimera hyper point or go reb/freelance or be SOL sulking

Can somebody explain why reb and freelance duty missions are different I mean they spawn different number of blacksun ships?


I mean for entire reb duty mission I get to destroy 265 blacksun ships but for freelance one only 85.


This really bothers me now, and I wonderifthis question has ever been raised before?

All of the destroy duties follow the same basic format of several waves with five boss waves interspersed. You'll find a lot of variation though - sometimes it's one wave followed by one boss for a total of ten waves. Or like the Rori duty against Imperial ships, each wave has different makeups of ships culminating in a T5 Advanced boss wave. Lots of variation in numbers and opponents.


If the difference between those two duties bothers you, try flying Imperial. We don't even get a Blacksun duty, or a faction duty like rebels do.

where do you get the black sun duty missions for this?
