Do I have to have the ROTW expansion to fly the heavy z-95?

I havent tested it, but I wouldnt think so. In the skill tree its classified as a Z-95.

Considering there were heavy starter ships running around before RotW was officially live, yes, you can fly it without the expansion.

umm halyn i wasnt aware of heavy ships, so are you sure? cause the first i saw was after ROTW

Yep. Some Starsider people used 30k resource kits to craft some heavy craft pre-RotW.

heavies came with the CU where the resources came to actually build them with ROTW so Halyn's right
