I've realized I've chosen the wrong way to level. I'm now a 2111 Imp pilot (ready to train for 2211) and can't get any further. I'm stuck in a Lok mission where I need to take out some of Nym's pilots but they destroy me in 20 seconds. If I had level 2 of the 2nd tree then I might have a better chance at it. Is there some way I can drop this mission and train in the second tree or do I have to finish it. It seems I can only reset it after I fail, not drop it.
I also posted this here in hope of someone being able to help me. I've PMed those who were on the list on the pilot board and even some people I've come across. No one is able to currently help me. If anyone reads this and can please send me a PM. I'm willing to pay for the help.

No, don't drop the box. You will most likely get bugged that way. I would suggest finding a buddy at a higher level in the pilot tree to help you in the mission. They are usually a lot of fun that way and is goes by quicker.

You can't drop just one box. You have to drop all your skills and start over again. Just keep trying to get somebody of a higher level to help you.

I'm on Bloodfin. Thanks for all the answers all. I guess I'll just have to be patient and keep trying to find someone who is free.

If you are flying against pirate targets, you can take a long a friend that is from any pilot squadron, not just the imperial ones. Might make it easier to find help. If it's against rebels, you can take Naboo's RSF pilots along with Imp's.
