anyone know if i have to do quests for anyone before he will talk to me?

Im a Master Pilot so wanted to get the Y-8 but he just ignores me.

Check your quest journal. When you return to Kashyyyk after doing the first few missions of the "mining" series, it's not Flash Harrison you have to talk to.

Also, if you have too many active quests, you can't proceed (limit is 150) and it could be that if you have an active space mission you haven't completed, Flash won't talk to you then, either, if you're just starting the series.

K im a moron then. who starts the Mining quests lol. I was always told it was Flash..

After doing the Talus part, you need to talk with Captain Kohs, a Twi'lek on the 3rd level of the great tree.

If Flash isn't even speaking to you to get the mission to go to Talus, make sure you follow the advice above regarding current active space missions.

Yes, Flash Harrison does start the mining quest series.

If Flash Harrison isn't talking to you to *start* the mining quest series, clear any active space missions you have.

This is the case for a lot of the RotW space quests... if you already have a space mission active, the quest NPC will not give you the mission, since you can only have one space mission at a time. It's just that Flash has a particularily uninformative message... most of the other NPCs will at least indicate something along the lines of "I see you're busy already."

Same here. I did the quests on Talus, and the dude told me to return to Kashykk. Now I have no idea who to talk to, Flash also asks me who I'm staring at.

Well, try to clear *all* your missions then, if you can. Make sure you're not working for anyone. one way to do this is to approach one of those 'mini-mission' NPCs like "a noble" or "a scientist" and if they tell you you're busy working for someone else, then you say "I want to work for you." and that will clear your unknown mission without making you do a quest for the NPC. Then go back to Flash and see if that helped.

If that doesn't work, and the guy in the Dearic Cantina won't talk to you (he's in the middle bay, in the corner, sitting on a bench) then you're bugged and I don't know how to clear that.
