Thread: bit of noobish question

Hello,
I just got myself a small Y-wing fitted with level 3 parts mostly. But in combat on yavin (rebel missions) i can hardly keep up with the pirates I'm supposed to hunt down. They outrun me and outturn me.
I have 2 weapons installed, the default one, and the ion one. but when firing it only shoots witht he default one, so i pressed ctrl + g to add them both in the same group, but it still fires only the default gun and not the blue ion gun. how to fix this.

You're right, that is a newbish question.
Just kidding.
The regular Y-Wing is a turreted ship, which excells at absorbing damage through the ability to load heavier protective equipment. Its not the most manuverable thing out there. Also, since its turreted, that second weapon can only be used by a gunner. If you want that weapon to fire, you're going to need to take someone up there along with you.
Some good advice would be to read through the forum stickies so you don't need to create a new thread for each similar question. Have a good one.
