A few weeks back I finished storm squadren. I got my ace jacket, helmet, medal, etc.. I have all the quest ships besides the Y-8 (mission bugged). I was wanting to do Imperial Inquisition, as I was told you could get another TIE Fighter suit/helmet, and all the ace stuff again.

Unfortunately, I was also told I would not be able to us my beloved Royal Guard Interceptorif I switched squadrens, or any other quest ship (JSF for example). Is this true? I'd like to get all three imperial badges, but dont want to risk my favorite ship.

Well, hopefully this isnt true, but I'd just like to verify. Search function didnt help me on it.

It is true, from a certain perspective. So long as you do not deed the ship, you will be fine. Just leave it in your datapad, despite being unable to use it. It will be ready for you when you get back.

So I would have to go back to Storm Squadren when I am done to use them?

No, the problems people are having are converting the ship from deed to ship after they have dropped squad. If you unpack the ship and always leave it in your datapad, then whenever you have the pilot skills for that ship you will be able to fly it.
