Thread: Wanted Poster?

So I wanna be an Imp Pilot...so I go to Bestine and talk to a pilot trainer. He won't let me in and says he has seen my face on a wanted poster. I figure it has to do with the -85 faction I have with imps. So I go do a few Imp quests and get it back to 0, still he won't take me. Is it because I talked to and did one quest for the Mining dude on Kashyyyk? What am I doing wrong? I have no Reb points either by the way.

I am pretty sure you have to actually be an imperial to be an imp pilot. Do some mor eimp missions and get the 200 faction needed to join up. Then try again. Not sure if you will be able to drop the factin later on.

What is your faction rating with the Rebels? Over a certain ammount, they won't accept you as an Imperial. Get rid of as much Rebel faction as you can, then try again. Obviously, you need to also quit the Alliance if you are a member.

As I stated I have 0 rebel faction points. I'm not sure how CL1's attain Master Piloting in factions if you have to be an Imperial soldier. I joined the empire once with a character and immeadiately I was surrounded in town by red aggro rebels.LOL I figured I wasn't ready yet and dropped out. That was a different character.

If you're neutral with no FP at all, you can join any of the factioned squadrons. I did so myself.

yeah, piloting signs you up for the faction, so you shouldn't need to go through ground stuff. More than likely, your mining mission is what is holding you up. but.... hmmmmm

Ok, if there is an actual mission in your datapad, delete it. However I don't think the initial mining missions are set up that way. If there isn't a mission in your pad, try to do what you need to do for that (visit the guy in Dearic) but DO NOT take any missions from him, just talk and complete what you have.

If you have an actual mining assignment in space already though, then you are bugged. This is really insteresting. A player can't have more than one space mission and space NPCs wont talk if you have one, but before this it was pretty impossible to get a mission without being a pilot. If they're expecting you to go to space and mine, and you're not even a pilot yet, then there's no way you can finish the mission and....

*sigh*

Good luck, post back let us know how it goes.

Well , it's pretty unusual for someone to go to Kashyyyk to get the mission if you're not a pilot. I'm guessing the only way is to catch a ride with someone in their POB. But if they were freelance or rebel before, got the mission, then dropped pilot while having the mission.....still stuck....bad planning on Dev-staff part
