Has anyone created a guide to etiquette in space? I've seen a few stories on here about rude pilots and how people took care of them. If we had a source of some sort to make sure things are going as nicely as possible Something like:
n00b Chatter:
When a pilot begins taunting your pilot abiblity or ship, you should [insert proper response]. If they keep doing it, you should [insert second action]. If the pilot is to dumb to stop, the third thing you should proceed to do is [insert third action].
Just wondering is a basic outline like that has been created.

Well... if someone taunts me or my ship (this mostly happens after I've blown them up) Invite them to come back, and say that I'll go soft on them. Then I blow them up again, and /addignore.

It seems to me that the appropriate manners in most situations can be summed up in two sentances. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." and "Don't be an azzhat."

IN my opinion, being spammed with hate-tells requires a lesson. I respect everybody initially, untill they've made it clear that they don't deserve my respect (I know this is the opposite of most people, but fair in my opinion, since people don't nessecarily hae the time to prove they deserver respect, but most of the time, can prove the opposite in 10 seconds), then I start beeing the aszhat...

Not strictly true, at the start of an engagement you attack in a manner that you would NOT want directed at you! However, afterwards there is nothing wrong with an evaluation of each others tactics and a bit of RPish style ribbing. Plus if you have little PvP on your server you can find an enemy who is willing to duel you over and over for some fun!
