Thread: how do i buy/sell droid commands?

I ave heard that you can copy your astromech commands (cap to shield shunt etc.) to a chip or somethign and sell them on the bazarr.
How do i do it? I have tried draggign them from the flight comp to my inv and it syas it cant be dne that way.

visit you're local droid engineer, buy a crate of unprogrammed droid chips,
Use the radial opton to program each chip and burn the commands onto them then place them for sale on the bazaar

If i get a command off someone else, like a freelance pilots cap-shield chunt, can i make copies of it myself or not? Basically i was thinking of getting every command then sellign chips on a vendor for like 3k a pop or something. I have been looking for ages and can never find any so i thought i might be able to fill a market niche.

No you need to be of each faction to program the chips. So only rebs can program reb, Imps, Imp etc. Though my mate has 3 chars of each faction for this purpose.

Hmm, i was hoping for a cheaper option, i guess i will just be selling the imp ones then. oh well.

unfortunately no you cannot copy them.
you can only burn the commands from you're own pilot proff.
Unless you have another account, then you can do what i did and grind another pilot prof like privateer for the sheild to cap shunt progs. Plus picking RSF i can pull black sun teir 4 duty missiions with my alt
2 black sun ace helmets so far now looking for no3

I wouldnt moan being imperial if I where you, think of a rebel pilot, where nobody wants the droid programs he has in most cases.

not complaining by any means...oh no!
It was just coz i was hoping to make loads of copies and stock a vendor. Well, guess i will switch my alt to privateer and do it the old fashioned way.
