Ok I am doing this mission for the RSf and it is currently a escort a ship and then fight some ships. The problem I am having is that in the second part I have to hyperspace to corellia and an escort of 3 ships is going to meet me. They do and once they do about 7 or 8 ships comeout and attack us. Only thing is they attack me and the othe ships just sit there and do nothing. How can I get the other ships to help me before I get my butt handed to me? It is prob something easy and I am just missing it. I am a newb pilot so anything will help me.

I just did this and the same thing happened.

Just find the yt-1300 thats beating you down and take it down fast.

I used a mark IV shield and mark II armor with a mark IV disruptor and ion cannon in a dune lizard. Used just weapon overload 3. I got beat up pretty good. i didnt notice the yt1300 untill it allready knocked my shields down.

If you make it through but with damage theres a space station to repair at.(gotthere before the next part)Oh and have fun with the second escort on that mission with another yt1300 in one of the waves.

Had the same problem myself, and asked about it on here and someone gave me the best advice........get a wingman, and then just for fun, call yourself maverick. But i agree on taking out the yt-1300 first. I had some good luck getting a low lvl ion cannon for sheilds and using a decent blaster at the same time, although I'm a little slow and you might already know this
